The blade on this one looks good! The blade has been sharpened and cleaned up by someone likely with a belt sander. The tip comes to a sharp point and the fit is nice and tight. The blade rates Exc. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard looks great! it shows period age and wear retaining 90% of its original black paint and remains dent free! The spring clip works as it should. The steel crossguard remains straight. The two multi-toned hardwood grip plates remain in worn condition! They are tightly secured by three rivets. A nice example to add to your collection!
