A Transitional - Nationalsozialistische Parteiabzeichen by RZM 6. (Karl Hensler of Pforzheim). These were available for private purchase / given (HJ/BDM) to individuals after they had joined the NSDAP. It is constructed out of a die struck tombak base that has been silver washed and contains red, white and black enamel work. The round shaped obverse depicts a black mobile swastika on a white backing, encircled by: “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE - D.A.P.” on a red translucent pebbled backing. The slightly concave reverse shows a soldered on (minor spillover) round plate pin assembly that remains in well working condition. The back is also marked “RZM 6.”. The enamel work is in excellent condition. The pin measures approximately 15/16 of an inch in diameter. Beautiful!
