Previously sold by another dealer so I’ll use his description:
“This is not a Day of the German Sea Tinnie, but was a presentation award, struck in 900 pure silver, given to high NSDAP officials and organizers. Top of the award translates Sea Travel Is Necessary. The case, which is original to the badge, is in superb condition, and features blue leather exterior which is in pristine condition. Inferior base is flocked in a rich blue velvet and interior is lined in white silk. An exceptionally rare piece. For those few who have one of the 1000 marked silver Nürnberg 1933 badges, this would serve as an excellent accompaniment.”
