Factory Ground Röhm - Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by Ernst Pack & Sohn of Solingen. The blade on this one looks Great. The acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto is beautifully executed. The “E. P. & S. Solingen” maker mark is 90% intact. The Röhm inscription has been factory ground off. The tip comes to a sharp point and the fit remains nice and tight! This blade rates an Exc++. It shows scratches/runner marks along with some age grey/spotting throughout. The steel based and brown anodized scabbard looks wonderful! It continues to retain the majority of its original factory lacquer coating and remains completely dent free! The solid nickel-silver scabbard fittings are in wonderful condition. All four scabbard screws remain intact and the ball is perfectly round! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel-silver crossguards match the scabbard fittings perfectly! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked “Sw” (Sudwest). The light blown (blondish) hardwood grip looks great! It has the common pressure marks throughout. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel. Come with a single piece hanger. A solid piece!
