Japanese Type 90 Combat Helmet

Here we have the standard type 90 Japanese combat helmet. The shell is constructed out of a steel base that has been painted in an olive drab. Covering the shell is a hemp camo twine that has been on there forever. The shell shows no dents, minor oxidization, spotting and retains 80% of its original olive drab paint. The shell also shows four ventilation holes to the top, six rivets, two split rivets and an IJA olive drab painted metal star affixed to the front. The interior shows a three padded brown leather liner, string and full length chin strap. The leather is in excellent condition with all of its stitching and only minor scuffs and sweat stains. The interior side is marked and sized. A great looking helmet!
