War Merit Cross 2nd Class w/o Swords

The medal is die struck, zinc alloy based and bronze washed and lacquered, most of the bronze is absorbed leaving a gray look. It depicts a pebbled maltese style cross and a wreathed swastika / 1939 (reverse) to the center. The ring is correctly maker marked "19", (Ferd. Wiedmann). This piece comes with approximately 8 inches of original red, black and white rayon ribbon.
