This piece here has the fouled anchor etch, which has been beautifully executed. The blade is nice. It has a bit of age and a nice etch and double oval Horster maker mark. The blade rates a solid Exc++. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The button works well. The hammered scabbard looks great! It has even wear throughout with evidence of use but it continues to remain dent free, which is hard to come by with brass being such a soft metal! This is a wee hit to the very tip. Both throat retaining screws remain unturned and intact. The crossguard and pommel area nicely detailed and remain in great condition. The wood based celluloid covered grip remains in great condition with no chips or cracks. The wire wrap remains nice and tight. A nice piece with the upgraded scabbard and nice etch!
