A Model 1933 Hitlerjugend Fahrtenmesser by RZM M7/14 - P. D. Lüneschlöss of Solingen. The ricassoed blade on this is stamped “RZM M7/14”. If you look closely you can see where they mis-struck it, then corrected it on the second hit. The fit continues to remain nice and tight and the tip comes to a sharp point. The blade rates an Exc. It has been heavily sharpened and shows age throughout. The original black leather buffer remains intact. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard shows oxidization spotting throughout. one minor pressure mark to the reverse. The scabbard leather is crazred, period repaired and broken to the top. It has all of its rivets intact and the snap continues to work well. The zinc based nickel-silver plated hilt retains approximately 90% of its plating. The grip plates are black checkered bakelite. There is a crack to the reverse. The rivets are zinc. The HJ diamond retains 96%+ of its enamel. A fine inexpensive option!
