A 1936 SA Standarte 16 Meeting on the Rhein Badge. It is constructed out of a die stamped tombak base that has been bronze washed. The round shaped obverse depicts two men with the number 16 on the neck collars of their uniforms, super imposed on an eagle with outstretched wings. The reading on the obverse is “1 November 1936 Traditions Treffen Der SA Standarte 16 (Rhein) Uns Trägt Ein Glaube”. The hollow back reverse has a well working, horizontally soldered on steel pin assembly. It measures approximately 2 inches in diameter. A fine piece!
