Distributor marked Alcoso Navy

I like these Adolf Braun marked examples. The blade on this one is very near mint! The tip is perfect, the fit is nice and tight, The stamped Braun distributor mark is stamped to the reverse. The blade is a plain one preferred by officers of more modest means. The original buffer pad remains intact. The brass lightening bolt scabbard on this piece has a dent to the reverse between the scabbard bands The bands are beautifully detailed. Both throat retaining screws remain intact. The unique crossguard design was only used by Alcoso. Look at the reverse, see the diamond in the center with the center drilled release button? Whenever you see that, think Alcoso. The evil looking pommel eagle is well detailed with only minor wear. The button works properly, as it should. The orange trylon grip is in good shape and does suffer a wee chip and hairline right at the lower reverse crossguard fit where the wire ends. The double twist brass wire wrap looks great and remains nice and tight. Overall this piece is in excellent condition and would be a great addition to your collection!
