Naval Administration Official’s Pith Helmet is perhaps one of the rarest of all Pith Helmets. This particular example shows minor age and use, but is complete all of the expected parts accessories, including the original large, silver washed, die stamped alloy construction national eagle. The eagle is in superb condition, look close and you will see the sparkle as the polished surfaces contrast to the matte silver wash. Those who know this stuff know what I'm talkin' about! The chin strap shows subtle signs of wear. The interior is in beautiful condition, with supple leather sweatband, clearly marked “Sch.k.” on the underside, with the size marking of “57”.
