A Japanese Navy Chief Petty Officers Green Field Cap. It is constructed out of a multi-piece green khaki cotton material that has been stitched together. The front center features a separately stitched on machine embroidered yellow chrysanthemum flower on top of fouled anchor on a green khaki oval backing above a dual cotton chin strap and a stiffened beak. There is a single black stripe of a junior officer around its circumference. The double cotton chin strap comes complete with two adjustable cotton sliders and is held on to the cap with square stitching. The sides each feature three stitched ventilation holes. The back shows four stitched holes with an adjustable olive cotton string running through them. The interior is lined in the same material and has a printed manufacturers tag. Nice one!
