Another true quality made National War Flag! Here we have a huge National War flag. It has a printed white roundel with a black swastika, four white and black lines running to the edge of the roundel and an Iron Cross to the top left. To the hoist end of the flag is a stitched on white reinforcing edge that has a lanyard running through the length of it. The white reinforcing edge has crisp black printed markings that read: "KR. Fl. 200 X 335" and "Johann Lieieg & Comp. Beichenberg Sudetenland" along with a nice Marine stamp. The hoist reinforcing edge has shrunk slightly which is quite common on these flags that were flown. There are also two separately applied reinforcing patches to the corners, where you can see the lanyard. The top and bottom have six reinforcing stitches. The fly end of the flag has been folded over and also has six reinforcing stitches. There is a wee "bite" out of one edge and some small holes towards the fly end, none of which are bigger than a couple mm. All of the stitching remains intact. There is some soil and the colors all remain strong and no age discoloration! It measures approx 131 inches by 77 inches. Nice example purchased from the Vet's family this week.
