M31 Army Canteen

Here we have a standard issue .8 liter capacity M31 canteen and cup! It is constructed out of a tooled natural aluminum construction with an olive drab wool cover covering, aluminum based black painted cup and blackened leather straps. The cup is marked "MN 39". The wool covering shows a couple mothing holes throughout. The cup retains 10% of its paint. The leather is in excellent condition. All of the snaps are present. The clip spring works well. This was purchased recently from the Veteran's family by me.
