A Nationalsozialistische Parteiabzeichen by RZM M1/42 (Kerbach & Israel of Dresden). These were available for private purchase/given (HJ/BDM) to individuals after they had joined the NSDAP. It is constructed out of a die struck tombak base that has been silver washed and contains red, white and black enamel work. The round shaped obverse depicts a black mobile swastika on a white backing, encircled by: “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE - D.A.P.” on a red translucent pebbled backing. The slightly concave reverse is marked “RZM M1/42”. The enamel work shows some discoloration, cracking and age. It measures 15/16 of an inch in diameter.
