A second pattern Heer Mützen Adler by RS&S 1938. It is constructed out of an injection molded aluminum alloy base that has been silver washed. The obverse depicts a Heer eagle, clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons. The hollow back reverse is maker marked "RS&S 38" and has one of three prongs remaining intact. The silver wash details are nice. It measures 2 5/8 inches wide by 1 1/8 inches tall. An inexpensive way to add to your collection!
