A nice looking Army 18 Years Long Service Award! It is constructed out of a die struck zinc-alloy base that has been silver washed. The obverse features a pattée style cross with a centrally placed closed winged Heer Eagle griping a mobile swastika in its talons / "18" (reverse), encircled above a pebbled background. To the top is an integral loop and ring. Comes with 5 inches of blue rayon post-war ribbon. It measures approximately 1 3/8 inches wide and tall. A good looking piece!
