A Button by F.W. Assmann & Sohne of Lüdenscheid. It is a multi-piece construction made of die stamped gilded aluminum alloy and plated steel. The round shaped obverse is plain. The reverse is marked “Extra Fein” and “A” (F.W. Assmann & Sohne, Lüdenscheid). There is also a crimped on aluminum round wire loop, to allow it to be stitched to the uniform. It measures 7/8 of an inch in diameter. Nice!
