A Transitional Reichsparteitagabzeichen by Karl Wurster of Markneukirchen. The 10th Party Congress was held in Nuremberg, September 5–12, 1938. It was called the “Rally of Greater Germany” (Reichsparteitag Großdeutschland). It is constructed out of a die struck zinc base that has been blackened. The round shaped obverse depicts two unclothed men (one has a chain around his right wrist, the other is holding an NSDAP flag on a pole) that are standing on a pedestal with a National eagle on it. The reverse is maker marked: “K. Wurster Markneukirchen/SA.”.It also features a crimped on well working steel pin assembly. It measures 1 11/16 inches in diameter. A fine piece!
