A Model 1937 Reichsarbeitsdienst Führer Haumesser by WKC of Solingen. The blade on this one looks good. The acid etched “Arbeit adelt” motto and Knights Head “WKC Solingen” maker mark look great. The blade rates an Exc++. It has been cleaned, it has a loose fit, runner marks and a minor dulling to the tip. The steel based, silver plated blued paneled and heavily lacquered scabbard looks great! The lacquer remains 90% intact. Just beautiful… There are some pressure marks and you need to hold it just right in the light to see them. It displays wonderful details throughout, with the burnished: decorative swirls, random pebbling and wheat leaves. Both throat retaining screw remain intact. The scabbard fits the hilt perfectly. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated and burnished hilt looks excellent. There is zinc pest to the head. The crossguard retains beautiful detail with the proud RAD emblem front and center! The white celluloid grip plates look good. The obverse is perfect to display the reverse has one crack in it. A nice RAD Leader Dagger that would make for a great addition to your collection!
