A Model 1933 Hitlerjugend Fahrtenmesser by RZM M.7/62 1938 ‐ Friedrich Plucker Jr of Solingen-Grafrath. The ricassoed blade on this one is tired. The stamped “RZM M.7/62 1938” maker mark is nicely executed and the fit remains nice and tight. The blade rates Exc. It has been sharpened and cleaned and shows heavy age greying throughout. The black leather buffer pad continues to remains 95% intact. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard remains completely dent free and retains approximately 65%+ of its paint coverage. The folded and riveted eather strap is in excellent condition. It retains all of its brown rivets and the snap continues to work well. The steel based nickel-silver plated hilt retains 90%+ of its plated finish. The black checkered bakelite grip plates are well used and they are tightly secured with two aluminum rivets. The HJ diamond retains 97%+ of its enamel and has nice movement. A solid piece available for your today!
