Alcoso commercial K98 Police Bayonet

Ok so we have here a K98 Alcoso marked bayonet. The blade on this one rates NM! The tip and fit are perfect, all of the bluing remains intact except where it has rubbed the runners from drawing it in and out. It is nicely maker marked! The blade is Police inspection marked with an asterisk(*) to the spine. Other than the blade marks i see no other markings on the bayonet. The scabbard is marked "20" possibly indicating 20 police district "Erfurt" The dress bayonet style scabbard is in nice shape! It shows minor wear with much lacquer remaining to the finish while remaining dent-free. It has a centrally place screw to the obverse. The hilt is in excellent shape as well! The brown multi-toned bake-lite grip plates are in beautiful condition! No chips or splits. This one also comes with a good soft and supple EFF 1943 marked frog. It has all of the stitching and rivets intact.
