SS M42 CKL Battle damaged Helmet

So I could not help but buy this. This helmet came from 15th Latvian SS positions in Staraya Russa. Complete and fresh found last year. It is untouched other than to be hosed off. Truly speaks to the raw violence of war. It is unmistakably CKL maker, the size I can not make out but estimate at 64. This guy in my opinion took hits from an automatic with 7.6mm rounds. A 30 year cop looked at it and said, "Now also in my educated opinion I would say this side of the Helm was hit by another round of some type after being knocked off this SS mans head and while laying upside down , as my red arrow shows the direction this round impacts the Helm .... Certainly imo from the same fire fight ..." see last view in collage. Nope not for everyone but unique for sure.
