Real nice imperial sword here. This one has a beautifully ornate gilded steel hilt. The D-guard incorporates and great folding basket featuring a Prussian bird with crown. The grip is perfect, flawless with perfect celluloid, wire and cipher. Look careful and you will see the leather finger guard still remains, rare after 100 yrs! Blade is double fullered with minor age. The scabbard has wear to the paint but no dents. This is a great sword at a great price direct from the Vet's family.
