Deluxe 2nd Model Luftwaffe Hangers

A Deluxe M1937 Luftwaffen Dolchgehänge. The back connector, buckles, bands and clips are all constructed out of an injection molded zinc alloy base that has been burnished. They all depict beautiful oak leaves and acorns throughout. The grommets and the prongs are steel based and lightly oxidized. All of these components are held together with two straps. They are constructed out of a cotton base that is covered in a blue-grey felt material (reverse) and a patterned cotton, rayon and aluminum flat-wire stitching (obverse). They look to be resewn to the top fitting, most likely in the period. All of the clips continue to work well, the top spring is a replacement,(done by me). Minor thread fraying. A great set to complete your Luftwaffe dagger!
