Karpatendeutsche Ehrenzeichen. Instituted by the head of the German racial group for distinguished service. The Carpathian Germans are a group of Ethnic Germans who live in present day Slovakia. It is constructed out of a highly polished silvered tombac in the shape of a swastika, with a Sudeten Party insignia applied to the centre. An open-ended oak wreath tied together at the base fasted onto the badge via two pins (visible on the reverse). Complete with a vertical pin and catch. 58.32 mm x 58.38 mm, 27.5 grams.
