Nice early example here with a bright blade on this one looks superb! It shows nice crossgrain. It retains a solid fit and ends at a perfect tip. The double oval maker marked blade rates Exc++. There is very minor age spotting towards the tip. The original brown leather washer remains intact. The scabbard is steel based and nickel plated. There is a small impression to the reverse you will have to hold the scabbard just so to find it. It provides wonderful detail with random pebbling throughout. The original throat retaining screw remains. The Eickhorn eagle crossguard also provides good details throughout the head, wings, wreath and chest! The reverse of the crossguard is jeweler engraved VW". The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with burnish background and proud oak leaves and acorns! The orange trylon grip is near perfect! If you've been looking for one of these now's your chance!
