Miniature Horster 1st Luft/DLV Dagger

The plated blade on this one has some minor age. The acid etched Horster mark is nicely executed! Both the fit and tip are perfect! There is some minor age grey but that\'s it. The buffer pad remains intact. The blue painted pebbled scabbard paint looks good, and still retains 90% coverage! The steel scabbard fittings have patinaed matching the hilt in color and wear. Notice the way they are stapled to the scabbard? This is typical of DLV\'s and transitional 1st Luft\'s. See the bit of lacquer remaining? The chain is intact. The crossguard and pommel look awesome! The grip is leather covered and is dark blue/black with surface wear. The wire wrap remains but may have been replaced at come point. It measures 9 1/2 inches tall. A great piece!
