The blade on this one has a bad bend towards the tip and age. It has a nicely executed early Eickhorn double oval maker mark. The blade rates VG. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The dented plated scabbard provides has nice patina. The bands are detailed. The throat retaining screws are intact and unturned. The crossguard is a post-war reproduction. It is zinc based. Who, when or why I do not know. The grip is and undamaged trylon. Ok so I sell this fully disclosing the crossguard issue.
