7th SS Volunteer Mountain Division - “Prinz Eugen” Ärmelstreiffen. It is constructed out of machine embroidered black cotton with white cotton stitching and silver aluminum flatwire thread. The rectangular shaped obverse reads, in white “Prinz Eugen” on a black field with two horizontal flatire borders. The edges have been folded over and stitched together. It shows the odd thread catch. Measures 19 inches long by 1 1/8 inches tall. Purchased from the veterans family. A desirable piece!
