Here we have a combat worn M35 double decal helmet. The shell continues to be in great shape. It has good paint with some areas of scuffs and scratches, exactly what one expects to see on a worn example but no dents. The 2nd pattern Luft. decal has wear and scrapes remaining 60% intact. The Tricolor shield is likely 90%+ there. The helmet still has its correct very good condition M31 liner with all of the 8 fingers intact. The liner also still has a replacement, (when I do not know) size adjustment string, though it is worn and stained, and the leather itself shows wear. We can see the maker marking on the outside of the steel liner band, but we cannot read it other than the 1940 date. It is ink stamped "56". The chinstrap is a post-war replacement. The liner has honest stains but no tears it is named and unit marked in ink. All the leather is fairly supple and not hard. The inside is marked "SE64" and lot numbered.
We would recommend that you read our Policies page before making a purchase.
