2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by Horster

Here we have a M1937 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger (Fliegerdolch) by Horster of Solingen. The blade has some age and gray. The etched maker mark is nicely executed. The fit is nice and tight. The blade on this one rates in at Exc/Exc+. The blue pebbled leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The dent-free scabbard is steel based and "airplane gray" plated. It depicts nice detail throughout with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. The aluminum-alloy based burnished eagle crossguard has nice detail to the eagles head, feathers, wings and top side hand enhanced oak leaves and acorns. The steel ferrule and burnished aluminum pommel both look excellent. The trylon grip has wear and wee scratches but co cracks or chips. The springy brass wire wrap remains tightly intact.
