Army Dress Belt and Buckle by by RS&S

Here we have an aluminum based, die struck, army dress buckle and black/brown leather belt. The obverse depicts an embossed closed winged Heer eagle griping a swastika in its talons. The eagle is above a half oak leaf and acorn wreath and underneath: "GOTT MIT UNS" (God with us). The wreath and motto are in front of a decorative line type pattern which is all encircled by two twisted ropes and all lies on a pebbled field. The aluminum prongs and catch remain in excellent condition! The buckle is in good condition with honest wear to the high areas, remnants of the factory paint remain to the obverse recesses. The buckle is attached to a maker marked and dated 100cm belt. It has a pronged in steel catch. A great example purchased from the Vet's family by me!
