German Chaplin's Cross

Made of brass with inlaid ebony. I believe the skull and crossbones refers to "Christ over death". Ok so here's what I know about this, it was a Vet bring-back and these crosses were absolutely used by Chaplin's, they were also common through out Europe at the time. Period wear to the high areas. The cross is 129mm tall. Really, if you have a Chaplin's uniform or grouping this is a must. Pls note the final view is a similar period picture of a similar cross, NOT this exact cross
