An earlier type company grade (lieutenants and captains) officer military samurai sword tassel. It is constructed out of blue and brown woven chord. The tassel consists of a flat string, a braided brown slide with blue edge trim, a knot and two open ended twisted tails. There is typical wear to the end and age fading. A good piece to accompany your sword!
