SS Buckle by Rodo

A desirable piece! Steel based, die struck SS buckle by Rodo. To the obverse of the buckle is a SS eagle with outstretched wings clutching a centrally placed wreath swastika in its talons. The eagle is above the SS motto: "Meine Ehre heisst Treue!" which is in front of a pebbled background that is surrounded by two twisted ropes in a circle, all on a smooth field. The obverse someone has polished up. The buckle is in good condition. It holds some oxidization age throughout. Nice detail remains. The reverse steel prongs and catch remain in good condition! The buckle is maker marked "Rodo'.
