A Personalized - Model 1938 Deutschen Rotes Kreuz (DRK) Führer Dolch. The bright blade on this one looks excellent. Nice crossgraining and plated ricasso. It retains a nice and tight fit. The blade rates an Exc++. It shows some age grey and spotting throughout. The original black leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard looks excellent as well. It remains dent free and retains 98%+ of its plating. Both throat retaining screws remain intact. The zinc based, nickel-silver plated crossguard is in nice condition with the medallion displaying fine vaulting to the swastika on the bird's chest and the cross in its talons. The reverse medallion is personalized reading “D.R.K. B.G. 1 N.2.”. The pommel screw cap is looks excellent. The orange trylon grip looks great no chips or cracks. This one comes with a nice portepee as well. Overall this a great piece!
