“Der Stahlhelm” Meeting in Gemünd/Eifel Badge 1970

A 1970 “Der Stahlhelm” Meeting Badge in Gemünd/Eifel Badge by Ferdinand Hoffstätter of Bonn am Rhein. It is constructed out of an injection molded metal base that has been silver washed and black painted. The shield shaped obverse features; the Der Stahlhelm helmet emblem, underneath “Niemals Gteilt” and on top of the outline of a region and barbwire and above “Gemünd/Eifel 12/13. Sept. 70” and “Frieden-Freiheit-Deutschland-Europa”. The semi-full back reverse has a horizontally soldered on rectangular plate that is maker marked: “Hoffstätter Bonn” and holds a well working pin assembly. It measures 1 3/8 inches wide by 1 7/8 inches tall. A nice Der Stahlhelm membership piece.
