4th SS-Police-Panzer Grenadier Division - “SS-Pollizei-Division” Ärmelstreiffen. It is constructed out of machine embroidered black cotton with white cotton stitching and silver aluminum flatwire thread. The rectangular shaped obverse reads, in white “SS-Pollizei-Division” on a black field with two horizontal flatwire borders. The edges have been folded over and stitched together. It shows the odd thread catch and wear throughout. Measures 18 3/4 inches long by 1 1/8 inches tall. A desirable piece!
