A Long Fireman's Dress Bayonet. The plated, 9 7/8 inch long, single edged, fullered blade on this one looks beautiful! It retains a nice bright mirror like finish! The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates a solid NM! It has typical surface scratches throughout. The buffer pad is lost to time. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard retains 95%+ paint coverage. It continues to hold its throat retaining screw. There is a wee pressure mark to the reverse. The steel based plated hilt retains 99% coverage. The black bakelite diamond grip plates that are perfectly fit and are secured by two solid nickel-silver rivets. It comes with a nice black leather frog. An excellent piece, available for you today!
