Contemporary production Model 1852 US Navy Officer sword by Hilborn Hamburger NY. Beauty etched S.S. blade is triple etched. and Jeweller engraved to "James L. Yeager" The 28" blade has nice etching and is hard to picture. The gilt hilt has USN in the basket. Composition faux ray-skin grip with triple brass wire wrap. The scabbard is black leather with gilt brass fittings. The leather has some age cracking. Comes with original but worn knot.
