A great piece here! The blade on this one looks good! The "S" proof stamp is nicely executed. The end has been slightly retipped and the fit is nice and tight. The blade rates Exc+. It has been sharpened. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard looks great! it shows period age, retains 99% of its original black paint and remains dent free! The three prongs remain intact. The steel crossguard remains straight. The two multi-toned hardwood grip plates remain in excellent condition! They are tightly secured by three rivets. A nice example to add to your collection!
