Please note this item is no longer available and you were redirected to our Archives.

A Model 1934 - Sturmabteilung Ehrendolch mit teilweise Widmung by C.G.Haenel of Suhl. Ernst Röhm Honor daggers were granted to members of the SS/SA who either had uninterrupted service since December 31st 1931 or those who transferred from the Hitler Youth prior to December 31st 1931. After the Night of the Long Knives, Ernst Röhm was declared a “traitor” and removal of the inscription was mandated. I love the history here. The spotted blade on this one looks great! The acid etched, "Alles Fur Deutschland' motto is beautifully executed! The etching is nice and dark. The reverse has been fully ground to include a bit of the maker's mark. The blade suffers age grey and clouding. The undented anodized scabbard has a rough surface with lots of surface oxidation. The solid nickel fittings are intact, the ball is dented in. The screws are all intact but the top have been messed with. The scabbard / crossguard fit is less than perfect, the scabbard was likely switched out at some point. The reverse of the guard is stamped "Th". The distinctive solid multi-toned oak grip looks awesome! It is chip and split free. The correct nickel-silver eagle is perfectly fit and retains beautiful details throughout. The SA roundel has lost its' enamel. A decent example, with real history.
