An Early Model 1933 NSKK Dagger (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolch) by Christianswerk of Solingen. The blade on this one has age. The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Christianswerk Solingen" maker mark are both clear. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit remains nice and tight! This blade rates a Exc. It shows age spotting, age grey and the common runner marks/surface scratches throughout. The dent-free black repainted scabbard is steel based. The scabbard fittings are solid nickel-silver. They have normal wee bumps and hits. The ball is banged in. All four scabbard screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect! The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped "Nrh" (Niederrhein). The brown hardwood grip looks good. It has a wee hairline above the roundel and a rub to the lower left obverse. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a near perfect fit. The SA roundel is worn yet has a perfect fit and retains 99%+ of its enamel. A fine piece with nice matching patina.
