A textbook Army Dagger by Eickhorn! The bright blade on this one has some evidence it's been cleaned and in Stone mint. The etched "Original Eickhorn Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed black. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The dent-free steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated Eickhorn crossguard provides wonderful detail throughout the eagle's head, wings, wreath and chest. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The orange, trylon grip on this one is flawless being one tone darker to the obverse. A nicely patinaed Eickhorn example!
