A Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by WKC (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie.) of Solingen. The blade on this one is excellent! The dark and crisp acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto and “RZM M7/42” maker mark are dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain wonderfully shines against the light, running the full length of the blade! The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates an easy NM. It shows minor spotting and the common runnermarks / surface scratches. The scabbard is steel based and brown enamel painted. It shows minor spidering and surface scratches. It continues to remain completely dent free and retains 97%+ paint coverage! The very late zinc based, nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings are in excellent condition. They show some spotting yet retaining 99%+ plating coverage. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws are tightly secured! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect. The crossguards are zinc based and nickel-silver plated. They show minor age bubbling matching the scabbard fittings perfectly. The very nice tiger striped brown hardwood grip is a treat! It has the typical pressure marks and flakes but no cracks. The aluminum eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel is retains 99%+ of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A great looking grip and blade!
