A Model 1933 SS Dagger (Schutzstaffel Dienstdolch) by J.A. Henckels, RZM Contract Code “RZM 15/38SS". The Henckels RZM & contact # below the Henckel's mark and Meine Ehre heisst Treue motto all remain dark, just like you want to see them! The tip comes to a sharp point and the blade / crossguard fit sits just right. The blade rates a solid NM It has awesome crossgrain along with a few dots of age along with normal runner marks. The steel based black painted enamel dent-free scabbard body on this one looks good. There is some crazing and small scratches, it retains 99%+ paint coverage. The steel based nickel-silver plated scabbard fitting look good with 99% plating. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact. The zinc-alloy based nickel-silver plated crossguards suffer some plating loss and fit the scabbard fittings nicely. The grip is black died chip and Crack-free hardwood. The solid nickel eagle is nicely detailed and has a good fit. The SS roundel retains 100% of its enamel and has a perfect fit! A solid piece with a beautiful blade! Included is a nice short RZM marked hanger. Guys look all day for daggers like this!!
