Here’s a great example of a Luftwaffe Signals EM/NCO Visor Cap by Christian Haug. The visor is constructed of blue/grey wool with a horizontally ribbed and interwoven black mohair center-band and a golden brown (Signals) identifying waffenfarbe piping. All of the wool is in excellent condition! It has the correct silvered aluminum wreath and cockade along with the correct silvered aluminum 1st pattern Luftwaffe eagle insignia. The black leather chinstrap has some surface crazing! The visor top has an internal wire stiffener. The black lacquered looks great being leather with surface crazing. The interior is lined in a light brown-red rayon material. The brown leather sweat-band remains and is perforated to the front. The top celluloid sweat diamond is intact . It is maker marked and is sized “56”. You can see the tombak prongs where the eagle and cockade insignia has come through along with the prongs holding the two buttons. A good one.
