Who wouldn't want to be the proud owner of this SS 4 Year Long Service Medal! It is constructed out of a die struck, bronze alloy base that has been blackened. The obverse of the round award features two centrally placed SS runes that are surrounded by an oak leaf and acorn wreath that is tied together at the bottom and all lies on a pebbled field. The reverse reads: "Für Treue Dienste in der SS" (For Loyal Service in the SS) and is in front of a "4" and all lies on a pebbled field. It has the proper loop and tear drop suspension ring to the top. It has nicely aged with time. It comes with inches of 33mm original blue rayon ribbon. A typical Deschler Munich manufacture. A great piece missing from most collections!
