Interesting example. The 9 11/16 inch long, single fuller, plated blade on this one looks excellent! The stamped "Gustav Klemme" of Herford and on the reverse "Solingen" is beautifully executed. The plating gives it a nice mirror like finish. The tip comes to a perfectly sharp point and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates NM. The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based repainted scabbard looks great. It shows some minor scratches yet it remains completely dent free! The throat retaining screw remains intact and the ball is perfectly round. The alloy based, plated hilt looks good. The plating is 99%. The black checkered bakelite grip plates are in near perfect condition. Both plates are tightly secured to the hilt with the textbook unique Pack spanner/ nut assembly betraying who the distributor bught this from. The button continues to work well and a green felt pug is in the mortise slot.
